How to Use This Tool
Here are some tips to get the most out of the Steam Evaluation Lab.
How to Read the Sakura Score
The score is displayed from 0 to 100, and a higher number indicates a stronger suspicion of fakes.
| Score | Rating | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|
| 0-20 | High Confidence | Safe to buy |
| 20-40 | Basically Reliable | Check external reviews just in case |
| 40-60 | Caution Needed | Scrutinize review content |
| 60-80 | Suspicious | Be careful about purchasing |
| 80-100 | High Risk | Should avoid purchasing |
How to View the Overall Ranking
The ranks from S to F indicate not only the Sakura degree but also the overall quality of the game.
- Rank S: Masterpiece. Confidently recommended
- Rank A: Excellent. Most players are satisfied
- Rank B: Good. Tastes may vary
- Rank C: Mediocre. Lower your expectations
- Rank D: Problematic. Be careful about purchasing
- Rank E: Low quality. Should avoid
- Rank F: Worst. Absolutely avoid
How to Compare with External Evaluations
Be sure to check the "External Site Reactions" section of the analysis results.
If there is a large discrepancy between the rating within Steam and the external evaluation, the following possibilities exist:
- Organized manipulation is taking place within Steam
- Excessive excitement in a specific community (bias)
- Significantly improved/worsened by updates
Utilizing Playtime Analysis
The "AI Analyst Deep Dive Report" analyzes rating trends by playtime.
Voice of Beginners (~20h)
You can check the first impression of the game and the fun of the early stages.
Warning from Veterans (100h+)
You can grasp problems that only those who have played for a long time notice (lack of end content, balance collapse, etc.).
Turning Point of Evaluation
If there is a trend like "Rating drops suddenly after 40 hours", you should suspect stalling after the middle stage.
